- Run a Development site report to see if Biodiversity, Waterways & Wetlands overlays apply to your lot.
- Check if your site has vegetation covenants, drainage easements or development conditions restricting removal.
- If you’re in SEQ Koala Priority Areas or mapped koala habitat, stricter State rules may apply — even if Council supports removal.
- If protected, you’ll likely need to lodge DA Form 1 for operational works (vegetation removal).
